Rachael Moss

_DSF8160ii The first time I met Rachael Moss was in January on my visit to Monkton Wylde Court Farm where she was doing some stand in milking. At the time she lived in a bender in a nearby wood, and had goats in an adjacent field. By April she had moved to the relative luxury of a small isolated caravan alongside the vine fields of Spence Farm in Wootton Fitzpaine, and her goats now alongside her caravan.

Rachael lives the simple life, close to the earth as goat keeper and free lance gardener, along with locum milking. A very private person and a person with great sensitivity to the world around her. A person from whom I felt I could learn to take my time over things, to relish rather than rush things. A behaviour which we should all perhaps aspire to a little more than we do, dragged along, as we seem to be, by the momentum of society.

You can then run the slide show using ‘left’ and ‘right’ buttons.  Personally I prefer to go also to full screen having opened the slide show – F11 on my PC, don’t forget to get out of full screen is the same button , not ESC]
